Kurt Lemke serves as the Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep passion for ministry. Kurt also teaches full time at a local public high school, where he is dedicated to shaping young minds. He served as a Youth Pastor for over 15 years before God led him to step out in faith and accept the call to Pastor at Bethlehem Baptist in 2022.
Pastor Kurt Lemke brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his role as the spiritual leader at Bethlehem Baptist Church. With a solid foundation in education, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Education, complemented by a Master's in Organizational Leadership. His deep understanding of theology is underscored by dual Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Theology with a focus on Biblical Studies. Pastor Kurt's commitment to lifelong learning is evident in his pursuit of continuing education, ensuring he remains equipped to guide and inspire the congregation in their walk with Christ. His passion for teaching and leadership resonates in his thoughtful sermons and compassionate pastoral care, enriching the church community with wisdom and faith.
Beyond his pastoral duties, Kurt has a strong affinity for sports and recognizes their potential in ministry. He enjoys engaging with others through sports activities as a means of outreach and building relationships. He firmly believes in fostering a community of believers who serve God together, empowering each individual to discover and utilize their God-given gifts to impact the world for Christ.
Kurt and his wife Cj are natives of the greater Cincinnati area and are deeply rooted in their local community. Together with their daughter, Alexa, they are committed to ministering and serving others, extending Christ's love wherever they go. Cj Lemke plays a vital role in Bethlehem Baptist Church, contributing her talents across various ministries. She is instrumental in creating content for media and church services, ensuring that the message reaches and impacts the congregation effectively. Her dedication extends to teaching in the children's ministry, where she imparts biblical truths with enthusiasm and care. Together, their family is known for their hospitality and friendliness, which warmly ministers to church members and visitors alike.
