where are we at?
One thing we have learned throughout this journey is that God is ultimately in control. This is His project, and we are following His timeline for completion. Some moments bring significant progress, while others feel slow and uncertain. Yet, through it all, we trust in His process and remain confident in His perfect provision.
Design and Planning Process
We’re excited to share some important and encouraging progress on our church building journey! After much prayer, planning, and discussion, we are pleased to announce that our building structure has been delivered — construction will begin soon!
We have selected Cruz Construction as our builder and are currently in the permitting phase. This includes working closely with Cruz to complete the Planning and Zoning Department review required before construction can officially start. These steps are essential to securing the approvals needed to move forward with the physical build.
Financial Update
We’re also celebrating a major milestone—we have reached our financial goal to begin Phase 1 of construction, including securing a loan to help bring the vision to life!
As we move forward, we are taking a phased approach to construction. This strategy allows us to begin building sooner by focusing first on the most essential spaces that meet our church’s immediate needs. It also gives us flexibility with our budget and timeline, ensuring that we continue to steward resources wisely while growing and serving our community.
Here’s a snapshot of where we stand financially:
Total project cost: $1.844 million
Loan secured: $1.025 million
Funds already paid (drawings, permits, building): $218,000
Cash goal to begin Phase 1 construction: $412,000 — Reached!
Cash goal to complete Phase 2 construction: $407,000
We are full of faith and expectancy, trusting God to provide the remaining funds needed to complete this project. As always, we are committed to transparency and will continue to provide updates as progress unfolds.
