The Plan

What are we building?

At Bethlehem Baptist Church, we are stepping out in faith to build a facility that will serve our church family and community for generations to come. This 14,000-square-foot facility is designed to supplement our current building and meet the growing needs of our congregation by providing much-needed space for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and outreach. Every aspect of this project has been prayerfully planned to ensure that it not only meets our current needs but also allows room for future growth and ministry opportunities.

A Multi-Purpose Gymnasium & Recreation Space

At the heart of this new facility will be a versatile gymnasium featuring two junior high basketball courts, which can also be used for volleyball or pickleball. This space will serve multiple purposes:

  • Recreation for Youth & Families – Our growing youth ministry will have a dedicated space for games, activities, and gatherings that foster connection and discipleship.
  • Church Fellowship – Large church-wide events, meals, and gatherings will now have a space where we can come together in community.
  • Outreach & Ministry Opportunities – By offering a space for sports leagues, community activities, and special events, we can use this gym as a tool for outreach, welcoming new people into our church family and sharing the love of Christ in practical ways.

Six New Classrooms & a Large Teen Space

As our church continues to grow, so does our need for additional classrooms. The new facility will include six classrooms designed to accommodate Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and discipleship groups of all ages. Among these classrooms will be a dedicated teen space, providing our youth ministry with an area specifically designed for their needs—whether it be for midweek gatherings, small groups, or special youth events.

New Offices for Ministry Leadership

With the expansion of our ministries, additional office space is needed for our pastors and church staff. This project will include two new offices, creating a dedicated space for planning, counseling, and pastoral care.

New Restroom Facilities

To better serve our congregation, the new building will feature men’s and women’s restrooms, along with a family restroom to accommodate the needs of parents with young children or individuals with accessibility concerns.

New Kitchen

Hospitality and shared meals are an essential part of church life. This facility will include a kitchen that will allow us to prepare meals for church events, outreach programs, and fellowship gatherings. Whether for a Sunday morning breakfast, a youth group event, or a large church dinner, this kitchen will be a valuable resource for ministry.

Essential Storage Space

A well-organized church facility requires ample storage for ministry supplies, event equipment, and outreach materials. This new building will include dedicated storage areas to ensure that our ministries have the resources they need while keeping spaces functional and clutter-free.

Designed for the Future

This expansion is not just about meeting today’s needs—it’s about preparing for the future. Every square foot of this new facility has been intentionally designed to provide room for growth, ensuring that Bethlehem Baptist Church remains a place where lives are transformed by the Gospel for generations to come.

As we move forward with this project, we invite you to pray, give, and dream with us about how God will use this space to impact our church and our community. We are excited to see what He will do through this next chapter in the life of Bethlehem Baptist Church!
